Intelligent Concept Forklift (CFL) |
This Intelligent Concept Forklift (CFL) uses the same "brakes for life" system, which was implemented by Doosan on their previous versions of forklifts. The "brakes for life" design incorporates an oil-cooled disc brake system that is fully isolated from outside contamination of any humid, abrasive or corrosive dust particles. The industrial design team at Doosan implemented new material and production technique and infused with their simple and powerful products.
The design team states that they focused mainly on optimizing efficiency and intelligence in every possible way. It is also stated that various elements of the design can be fully used into all Doosan forklifts within five years.
With latest technology used, the forklift has cabin elevation and tilting function which uses hydraulic mechanism with a high-torque linear motor system. Multifunctional control joystick is used for simple steering and handling operations. Also, work guide system provides safer and efficient work operations through augmented reality technology.
Work guide system technology leads to greater productivity as it allows the operator to see the information about their cargo and come up with the most appropriate work process which needs to be applied to it. Also, extended counterweight increases loading and stability capacity along with reducing turning radius. This innovative forklift maintains higher environmental standards. It is electrically powered and cuts down fuel costs, emission and excess noise. Rechargeable batteries may be used for increased work time and productivity. Tilting seats and uncluttered cabin space incorporates best ergonomical design possible for the operator.
With today's technology, everyone yearns for continuous improvement. By inventing Intelligent Concept Forklift (CFL), Doosan has taken a huge leap in Material Handling and the equipment used. Traditional forklifts, cranes and conveyors could all be replaced by this state of the art Forklift as it is set to deliver high level of efficiency and safety for the operator.
